About The Studio

The owner Michelle Barteaux has always loved taking care of her hands and feet, but it was always the social aspect of getting her nails done that attracted her to the business. Since becoming a technician she has always had a vision to create the perfect studio. A place that is inviting and upscale, but not too spa like. Beautiful, clean, open and fun, where people will want to come and catch up with their technician or others in the community. Michelle was raised in the Western Communities and really wanted the studio to be a part of the community. We would like to welcome you! 

The studio boasts an open concept design with six custom nail tables configured in two seperate S shaped bars, a four seat custom pedicure bench, two service rooms, a mezzanine for education, a Youngblood Mineral makeup station and a funky retail area.
                                                    
As a client, Michelle has always demanded the best and wouldn't expect anything less for her clients. All of her nail technicians have been trained by Michelle and her estheticians go through additional in house training to ensure consistency and quality with services.Talons only uses the highest quality, environmentally friendly products. 

About The Owner

Michelle Barteaux has been working in the beauty industry for over 15 years and knew right away that her real passion was nails. Michelle started as an acrylic technician, but she developed allergies to the acrylic within the first couple years. Michelle discovered en Vogue Sculptured Nail Systems, a Canadian company using non-toxic, dental grade resin cured by ultraviolet light. It was a healthy product, was amazing to sculpt with, had great durability and her clients loved the look and feel of their nails. Michelle fell in love with the en Vogue product and uses it exclusively in her education center and studio.

Michelle has been an International educator for enVogue since 2000, delivering seminars and training workshops throughout North America and will continue to educate part time, but is really looking forward to spending most of her time in the new studio.

Michelle’s philosophy with nails is simple, they GOTTA LOOK GREAT.
